I am a Senior Lecturer in Forensic Anthropology and Photography
My work is principally on the use of photography in science and the application of scientific photography to projects. I am a trained clinical photographer and the breadth of those skills have been applied to personal injury work, the photography of bones, supporting student projects, developing teaching and learning materials. The range of publications from learning and CPD papers, history of acromegaly and gigantism, clinical photography through to human aspects of smart clothing and wearable technology working with a a colleague. Current projects include, a book on osteological photography and photographing graffitti in Derby Gaol. As well as lecturing I have always created teaching and learning resources as what used to be called a lone wolf.
