Collaborate Ultra Poor Performance -- We continue to have very sluggish experiences when using this plugin. Many users have to refresh their browser multiple times a day to reset audio & video glitches. Breakout room transitions are always kicking out several students. Also, while I was in a session recently, I discovered some students were showing up for others on the participants list, but not for me. After logging out and in, they appeared on my list. Almost 50% of our training staff have transitioned to Zoom over the past year, but Collaborate is much easier for us to manage. When they do use Zoom, I am the only person who can manage and create the Zoom links, and Zoom limits us to two simultaneous sessions, so I have been creating alternate emails to host additional trainings. This is where Collaborate is more beneficial, but the ongoing technical instability is antagonizing. Has anyone else been experiencing the same?

I know this is not the answer that you came looking for, and I offer it a bit tongue in cheek, but have you looked to Zoom as a viable alternative?   It is rock solid performance-wise and they offer a really great LTI connector which means you can seamlessly integrate the scheduling, authentication, launching,  recordings and playback, directly in Moodle.   The integration is pretty great and the UI is integrated in a way that feels like it is a native Moodle tool.

There is also a Zoom plugin, but my view is the LTI is better.
