For those of us on Snap, some of you may have noticed a new (and not necessarily desirable) behaviour in books, since the upgrade to Moodle 3.8.

It now displays the book description above each chapter in the book, which has the effect of pushing the book's content down the screen.  This looks doubly annoying if the description has an image.

Here is a CSS fix to hide this new 'feature', should you not want it.  You can add to Snap’s Custom CSS:
